Repair of Incidental Asphalt Damage and Concrete Damage

Incidental asphalt and concrete repair is performed for small-scale and often unplanned asphalt and concrete issues. It effectively addresses minor damages, wear and safety concerns.

Cracking

Concrete resurfacing and asphalt repair address hairline cracks in concrete, alligator cracks in asphalt and more severe structural cracks. Our skilled asphalt workers can seal or fill in the cracks.

Spalling

Spalling happens when concrete has flaked or chipped away, often due to freeze-thaw cycles, corrosion of embedded reinforcement or poor mix design. Concrete repair for spalling can be resolved with a partial- or full-depth patch.

Settling or subsidence

In areas where concrete or asphalt has sunk because of underlying soil issues or poor initial compaction, our crews can build up the soil to restore a smooth top-surface level.

Edge breaks or joint deterioration

When the edges of slabs or joints in concrete pavements have deteriorated, we can patch, seal or rebuild the damaged sections.

Potholes

Potholes can form in asphalt and concrete surfaces, particularly after weather damage or years of heavy traffic. Repairing potholes involves removing the damaged asphalt, adding hot mix to the patch and then compacting it securely.

Rutting

Grooves or channels can form in asphalt as a result of traffic wear, improper mixing of asphalt and insufficient compacting. After determining the cause, our asphalt repair workers will level and overlay the rutted areas.
