Equipment Operator
R&R Contracting Utilities is hiring certified heavy equipment operators for utility construction, site preparation, and infrastructure projects across the Mid-Atlantic.
What You'll Do
- Operate excavators, backhoes, loaders, skid steers, and other heavy equipment on active jobsites
- Perform trenching, excavation, grading, and backfill operations for utility installation and repair
- Work closely with pipe layers, foremen, and ground crews to maintain production schedules
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and site-specific safety plans
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience operating heavy construction equipment
- Proficiency with excavators and backhoes required; loader and dozer experience a plus
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Ability to read grade stakes and basic project plans
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Drug screening and background check required
