What demolition tasks do R&R crews handle?
Our labor force supports structural demolition, concrete removal, interior strip-outs, site clearing, excavation, and debris haul-out support. The general contractor runs the project and handles permitting and hazardous material abatement; R&R provides the trained crew to execute the physical work.
Does R&R supply excavation and site-clearing crews?
Yes. Site clearing, grubbing, and excavation labor are among our most-requested staffing scopes. We supply laborers and equipment operators; the general contractor provides the equipment and runs the excavation plan. This is standard for our turnkey-staffing split.
Are R&R demolition crews OSHA trained?
Yes. All crew members hold current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification, with additional fall-protection, confined-space, and hazard-communication training for applicable tasks. Training records are available for GC compliance files on every deployment.
How many demolition workers can R&R deploy?
Our 2,000-plus worker database supports everything from single-laborer residential strip-outs to multi-crew commercial demolition. We have staffed demolition projects with more than 50 laborers and operators simultaneously and can scale up or down week-to-week based on GC needs.
What certifications does R&R hold for minority participation requirements?
R&R Contracting Utilities holds MBE (Minority Business Enterprise), WBE (Women's Business Enterprise), DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise), and SLBE (Small Local Business Enterprise) certifications across Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, and Delaware. These certifications help prime contractors meet federal and local diversity participation requirements on DOT-funded and government projects.
