General Laborers
R&R Contracting Utilities is hiring experienced general laborers for utility construction and heavy civil projects throughout Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., Delaware, and Pennsylvania.
What You'll Do
- Perform manual labor tasks on active construction sites including digging, lifting, and material handling
- Assist with installation and repair of underground utilities (water, sewer, storm drain)
- Support equipment operators, pipe layers, and foremen on site
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards
- Follow directions from site supervisors and project foremen
What We're Looking For
- Prior construction or utility experience preferred
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (we'll train if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to jobsites
- Valid ID and ability to pass drug screening and background check
