OLNEY, MD, October 2, 2026: R&R Contracting Utilities supplied utility construction crews and traffic control on DC Water's lead service line replacement program in Washington, DC. It worked as a subcontractor to Murphy Pipeline Contractors, a Puris company.
The work was part of Lead Free DC, DC Water's effort to remove all lead service lines from the District.
The utility crews included laborers, pipe layers, operators and a foreman. For traffic control, R&R fielded a flagging crew with a supervisor and provided setups for a whole crew and additional flaggers.
