From February to August 2026, an R&R erosion and sediment control crew worked for Allan Myers on the dredge material containment facility at the Sparrows Point Container Terminal in Edgemere, Maryland.
OLNEY, MD — November 2, 2026 — Tradepoint Atlantic and Terminal Investment Limited are building a container terminal at Sparrows Point, as a joint venture on the former Bethlehem Steel site.
From February to August 2026, an R&R Contracting Utilities crew handled erosion and sediment control for Allan Myers on the terminal's dredge material containment facility in Edgemere, Maryland. The crew installed coir erosion-control matting and compost sock along a waterway edge. R&R also supplied a traffic control crew on the job.
It was not R&R's first containment facility with Allan Myers. From November 2023 to March 2026, R&R ran maintenance of traffic for Allan Myers at the Maryland Port Administration's Masonville Dredged Material Containment Facility in Curtis Bay. R&R crews have also worked for Allan Myers on the Glebe Road bridge rehabilitation in Cecil County, the Montebello Plant 2 sediment basins in Baltimore, and the 2026 rehabilitation of BWI Marshall's Runway 10-28.
