R&R's women-owned status now carries national certification from the Women's Business Enterprise National Council, extending its credentials beyond the state programs its clients already count on.

R&R Contracting Utilities is now WBENC-certified. The Women's Business Enterprise National Council, the largest certifier of women-owned businesses in the United States, has certified R&R as a Women's Business Enterprise — a national credential alongside the DBE and WBE certifications the company already holds for work across Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
The state certifications do their work on public infrastructure contracts, where participation requirements are written into the bid. WBENC reaches the other side of the market. Corporate supplier-diversity programs — the ones run by private owners, developers, and national general contractors — treat WBENC certification as their standard for verifying that a business is majority owned, controlled, and operated by women.
For R&R's clients, the practical effect is that the participation credit travels further. Embedded crews from the Workforce Solutions practice and turnkey work-zone management from Traffic Control & Flagging count toward public participation goals the same way they always have. Now private-sector programs can count that work too.
R&R is led by President Jennifer DiPietro and headquartered in Olney, Maryland. Certification details are available on request at info@randrcontracting.com.
