What CIPP Lining Solves
A damaged, aging, or undersized sewer or drain line doesn't always need to come out of the ground. Cured-in-place pipe lining pulls or inverts a resin-saturated liner into the existing pipe, expands it against the pipe wall, and cures it there. No trench. No torn-up yard. No weeks of lane closures while a crew digs and repours.

Two Ways to Cure the Liner
Hot water or steam curing is still the workhorse. Our crews circulate hot water or steam inside the installed liner until the resin hardens against the pipe wall. It works on nearly any diameter and any access condition, which is why most jobs still specify it.
UV light curing is newer and faster. A train of ultraviolet lights runs through the liner, and the heat it generates cures the resin in about ten minutes. On a job where lane closures or shutdown windows are tight, that difference matters — ten minutes of cure time versus hours changes what a superintendent can promise the client.

Does CIPP lining mean digging up my yard or street?
No. The liner goes in through existing access points and cures in place, so there's no trench and nothing to repour.
Is R&R the cipp lining contractor I hire, or do you work under someone else?
We supply the crew. The general contractor, municipality, or agency running the project holds the contract and directs the scope; R&R staffs OSHA-trained utility workers to execute it.
What's the real difference between hot-water and UV curing?
Hot water and steam work on almost any job and are the default. UV curing is faster — about ten minutes to cure versus a much longer hot-water cycle — but it's a newer method, and not every liner or diameter is specified for it. Your engineer's spec decides which one applies.
How long does cured-in-place pipe lining actually last?
Up to 70 years, if it's maintained. That number comes from the resin liner itself, not from R&R's own warranty — ask your engineer what their spec assumes.
