Daniel Bartelt

Construction Superintendent

Runs R&R's self-perform concrete and asphalt crews.

Daniel Bartelt is Construction Superintendent of R&R Contracting Utilities' Concrete & Asphalt Division. He directs the division's self-perform work in the field: the crews, their schedules, and the quality of what they put down.

He handles mix designs, sub-base preparation, slip-form and hand-pour finishing, and asphalt and concrete testing and compaction to DOT standards. He runs his sites to OSHA requirements.

Before R&R, he managed construction projects for over a decade. At PTG Enterprises he carried jobs from proposal to closeout, including utility locates, mark-outs, barricades, and traffic control. At Comfort Systems USA he supervised a field crew of more than 100. He also worked as an industrial electrician at Sparrows Point.
